H.R. Bhargava
Hunsur Ramachandra Bhagyachandra ( kn, ಹು. ರಾ. ಭಾರ್ಗವ), known mononymously as Bhargava, is an Indian film director who worked primarily in Kannada cinema. Originally a producer, he came to be considered one of the best directors in Kannada cinema, and he was awarded the Puttanna Kanagal Award, the highest award in Kannada cinema, in 2012. he has directed 50 films. Early life Bhargava was born in Madhwa Brahmin family, Hunsur taluk in the Mysore State (now Karnataka). Before becoming an independent director, he worked as an associate/assistant director with stalwarts of the time like Hunsur Krishnamurthy, Siddalingaiah, Vijay, Geethapriya and K.S.R. Doddarangegowda
Doddarangegowda is a Kannada poet and a lyricist working for Kannada cinema. He is a retired professor of Kannada and has published a number of anthologies in Kannada. He has released several audio cassettes and CDs of his poems. Some of his noteworthy songs are ''Tera Yeri Ambaradaage'' and ''Notadaage Nageya Meeti'' of Parasangada Gendethimma, ''Nammoora Mandara Hoove'' of Aalemane, ''Sri Rama Bandavne'' of Paduvaaralli Pandavaru. ''Avala Hejje'' () is a 1981 Indian Kannada-language film, directed by H. R. Bhargava, starring Dr. Vishnuvardhan, Lakshmi, Dr. Ambrish and Dwarakish. This film is partially based on the 1978 Bollywood film '' Trishna'' which itself was remade from Tamil film '' Thoondil Meen''. It was remade in Telugu as ''Bandhalu Anubandhalu''. Lakshmi herself was the producer of the movie. Plot The film begins with a stranger chasing Seetha (Lakshmi) trying to molest her.
