Tord Gustavsen (born 5 October 1970) is a Norwegian jazz pianist and composer. He tours extensively worldwide, and he has been a bandleader for a trio, ensemble and quartet at various times, all bearing his name. Early life Gustavsen was born on 5 October 1970 in Oslo and raised in rural Hurdal, Akershus. He "grew up playing church music". Later life and career Gustavsen holds a bachelor's degree (mellomfag) in psychology at the University of Oslo, before he attended the Trondheim Musikkonsevatorium for a three years study of jazz (1993–96). Thereafter he became a graduate ( Cand.philol.) of musicology at the University of Oslo, where he was guest teacher of jazz piano and theory (1998–2002). Finn Gustavsen
Finn Gustavsen (22 April 1926 in Drammen – 20 July 2005) was a Norwegian socialist politician active from 1945 to the late 1970s. He was noted for his uncompromising style and willingness to take contrarian stands. Gustavsen was born into a middle-class family in Drammen, where his father supported the family as the manager of the local cooperative store. Gustavsen started out his career as an industrial worker in Horten and Holmestrand. He became active in the Norwegian Labour Party youth movement ( Arbeidernes Ungdomsfylking) in the fall of 1945 after he earned his university entrance certificate in a year. The year after, he was hired as a reporter for the regional socialist paper in Vestfold, moved on to the national youth periodical for the Labor Party, then was part of a radical group that formed a foreign affairs journal called ''Orienteering''. Noah stylized as NOAH was the stage name of Denmark, Danish singer and songwriter Troels Gustavsen. Originally a duo, at the end of 2015 it was announced Lasse Dyrholm had left the group to pursue other creative ventures. Since 2020 Gustavsen has performed under his own name. Dyrholm and Gustavsen met at school in 2008 and started making music together. They released some songs online that proved very popular. They signed with Copenhagen Records in 2011 as well as recording of "Alt er forbi" (meaning Everything is over in English), their debut single on the label that debuted at number 21 on Tracklisten, the official Danish singles chart in February 2012. The duo released their self-titled debut album ''Noah (Noah album), Noah'' on 20 May 2013. On 31 December 2015, it was announced that Dyrholm had left to pursue other creative ventures. Bjørn Gustavsen (born April 3, 1938) is a Norwegian academic and working life researcher. He has been Director of the Work Research Institute (1972–1983) and Professor at the Arbetslivscentrum in Stockholm (1986–1999), the University of Oslo (1995–1999) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (from 2000). He is originally trained as a lawyer, and took the cand.jur. degree at the University of Oslo in 1964. He was an assistant judge 1965-66. After fours years as a research fellow at Norges almenvitenskapelige forskningsråd, he became a researcher at the Work Research Institute in 1970.
