Grône is a Municipalities of Switzerland, municipality in the district of Sierre (district), Sierre in the Cantons of Switzerland, canton of Valais in Switzerland. History Grône is first mentioned around 1001-1100 as ''in Gruona''. The municipality was formerly known by its German name ''Grün'', however, that name is no longer used.
