Gryan Miers
Gryan Miers (born 30 March 1999) is an Australian rules footballer playing for in the Australian Football League (AFL). A small forward, he played in the TAC Cup before he was recruited by Geelong with pick 57 in the 2017 national draft. Miers debuted in the opening round of the 2019 season and was nominated for the AFL Rising Star award in round 8. Junior career Miers played junior football for St Mary's and Grovedale before representing the Geelong Falcons in the TAC Cup. In their victorious 2017 season, he kicked a league-high 50 goals, including a haul of seven in the grand final against the Sandringham Dragons, when he was named best on ground. Miers was also named in the competition's team of the year, averaging 17 disposals and four tackles from his 17 matches. The Grovedale Tigers Football Netball Club, nicknamed the ''Tigers'', is an Australian rules football and netball club based in the residential suburb of Grovedale, Victoria, Grovedale, Victoria (Australia), Victoria. Sandringham Dragons
The Sandringham Dragons are an Australian rules football club playing in the NAB League, the top statewide under-18 competition in Victoria, Australia. They are based at the Trevor Barker Oval in Sandringham, Victoria, representing the southern suburban area of Melbourne. The Dragons were one of the founding metropolitan clubs of the competition in 1992 as part of a plan by the Victorian State Football League to replace the traditional club zones with independent junior clubs. This was to help aid in player development and the process of the AFL draft. The club was originally named the ''Central Dragons'' and played out of Toorak Oval in Prahran, Victoria. 2020 AFL Season
The 2020 AFL season was the 124th season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior men's Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season featured eighteen clubs. Played during the first year of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season commenced on 19 March and was suspended four days later; it resumed on 11 June and ran until 24 October. Luke Dahlhaus
Luke Dahlhaus (born 21 August 1992) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Geelong Football Club and Western Bulldogs in the Australian Football League (AFL). He received a nomination for the 2011 AFL Rising Star award in round 21 of the 2011 season. Dahlhaus was a member of the Bulldogs team that won the premiership in 2016, the Bulldogs' first in 62 years.
