Greg Steube
William Gregory Steube ( ; born May 19, 1978) is an American attorney and politician serving as the U.S. representative for since 2019. His district is based in Sarasota. A member of the Republican Party, Steube served three terms in the Florida House of Representatives, representing the Sarasota-Manatee area from 2010 to 2016, as well as two years in the Florida Senate until 2018, representing Sarasota County and the western part of Charlotte County. Early life Steube was born (5-19-78) in Bradenton to Brad Steube, who served as Sheriff of Manatee County. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1996. He attended the University of Florida, receiving a degree in Animal Science in 2000, and then his Juris Doctor from the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law in 2003. Sarasota () is a city in Sarasota County on the Gulf Coast of the U.S. state of Florida. The Judge Advocate General's Legal Center and School, also known as The JAG School or TJAGLCS, is a graduate-level division federal service academy located on the grounds of the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia. Alpha Gamma Rho (), commonly known as AGR, is a social/professional, agriculture fraternity in the United States, currently with 71 collegiate chapters. Founding The fraternity considers the Morrill Act of 1862 to be the instrument of its inception. Having been signed by President Abraham Lincoln in 1862, it provided land and other financial supports to establish one institution of higher learning in the agricultural and mechanical sciences within each state. Southeast High School is a public high school in Bradenton, FL operated by the Manatee County School District & is the only public high school in Manatee County to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program. Admissions Southeast High School is a public high school that takes in students from an area determined by the Manatee County School District.
