''Grand Bargain!'' is a 2018 studio album by American alternative rock band Poster Children, their first in 14 years and was promoted by the single "Grand Bargain" and a tour. The release received positive reviews from critics. Reception Editors at AllMusic rated this album 4 out of 5 stars, with critic Mark Deming writing that "the reunion album is a much trickier matter" but noted that the songwriting is relevant and "reflects the social and political chaos of life in an increasingly divided nation" and the band "express themselves with an unpretentious intelligence and a laser-like focus" that "result ina set of tunes that expresses itself with a ferocity that's not rancor for its own sake but the sound of a furious wake-up call to the nation they call home". ''Good Morning America'' named this the 42nd best album of 2018, where Allan Raible called it "a sharply appealing, politically-charged set". WGLT
WGLT is a public radio station owned by Illinois State University and broadcasting on 89.1 MHz at Normal, Illinois. It broadcasts primarily local news and NPR programs, plus music in the evenings and on weekends. The station's studio is in the Old Union building on the campus of Illinois State University. Its callsign comes from the motto of Illinois State University: "Gladly we Learn and Teach", originally "and gladly wold he lerne and gladly teche", from line 309 of ''The Canterbury Tales''. History WGLT signed on the air on February 6, 1966, with only 10 watts of power and a studio in Cook Hall. It was originally student-run and heard only in the dorms. Electrical Audio
Electrical Audio is a recording studio, recording facility founded in Chicago, Illinois by musician and recording engineer Steve Albini in 1997. Hundreds of independent music projects have been recorded there. Unlike most producers, Albini refuses to take any royalties from musicians who record at the studio. Founded during an era of increasing popularity for digital recording, Electrical Audio was unusual for using only analog recording technology, including mixing consoles, tape recorders and many outboard sound effects. The rooms are also designed to offer natural reverberation rather than adding the quality in post-production. In a 2007 post on the studio's message board, the studio's technician Greg Norman revealed that the studio had acquired a Pro Tools rig for computer-aided recording and editing, saying it had become "as important to have as a piano".
