Ål Church (Gran)
Ål Church ( no, Ål kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Gran Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the village of Gran. It is one of the churches for the Moen/Ål parish which is part of the Hadeland og Land prosti ( deanery) in the Diocese of Hamar. The red, wooden church was built in a long church design in 1930 using plans drawn up by the architect Magnus Poulsson. The church seats about 270 people. History Planning for a new church in the village of Gran took place throughout the 1920s. Magnus Poulsson was hired to design the new church. It was a wooden long church with seating for about 270 people. The church has a large wooden tower. The church was largely financed by donations and volunteer work. The new church was consecrated on 2 March 1930. Around 1970, a graveyard storage room was built as an extension to the side of the choir. Norwegian National Road 4 ( no, Riksvei 4, ) is a national road in Norway which is the main route north from the capital city of Oslo to the junction with the European route E6 highway at the village of Biri in Gjøvik Municipality. The road runs through Nittedal, Hadeland, and Toten to its terminus on the shore of the lake Mjøsa. In 2021, the government began studying ways to improve the road to allieviate traffic problems. Route The southern terminus of the road is at a roundabout intersection where the roads ''Trondheimsveien'' and ''Fagerheimsgata'' meet in the Sinsen neighborhood of the city of Oslo. The road heads north and continues to be called the ''Trondheimsveien''. The Sinsenkrysset intersection with the Ring 3 highway is less than north of the start of this road. Conurbation
A conurbation is a region comprising a number of metropolises, cities, large towns, and other urban areas which through population growth and physical expansion, have merged to form one continuous urban or industrially developed area. In most cases, a conurbation is a polycentric urbanised area in which transportation has developed to link areas. They create a single urban labour market or travel to work area. Brandbu is a village in Gran Municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. The village is located in Hadeland, along the eastern shore of the large lake Randsfjorden, about to the northwest of the capital city of Oslo. Oslo
