Grades (producer)
Grades (born Daniel Traynor) is an English producer, songwriter and DJ based in London. His music encompasses elements of R&B, Hip Hop, 2step, House and Electronic. Career As an artist/DJ, Grades’ first original track "Freedom" was released in April 2014 and was featured by Annie Mac in her Free Music Mondays download series. He followed the release of "Freedom" with a remix of Lana Del Rey’s " West Coast" which reached number 3 at Hype Machine. Grades’ second single "Owe It To Yourself" was premiered in June by Mixmag who compared him to artists such as Bondax and Kaytranada. Grades went on to remix Hot Natured, Ellie Goulding, Labrinth, Becky Hill, Lianne La Havas & many more. Croydon
Croydon is a large town in south London, England, south of Charing Cross. Part of the London Borough of Croydon, a local government district of Greater London. It is one of the largest commercial districts in Greater London, with an extensive shopping district and night-time economy. The entire town had a population of 192,064 as of 2011, whilst the wider borough had a population of 384,837. Bastille (band)
Bastille (sometimes stylised as BΔSTILLE) are an English pop rock band formed in 2010. The group began as a solo project by lead vocalist Dan Smith, but later expanded to include keyboardist Kyle Simmons, bassist and guitarist Will Farquarson and drummer Chris "Woody" Wood. After an independently released debut single and a self-released EP, the band signed to Virgin Records. Their first studio album, '' Bad Blood'', was released in March 2013 and entered the UK Albums Chart at number one and included the hit single "Pompeii" which peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. Sinéad Monica Harnett (born 12 October 1990) is an English singer/songwriter. Career Born to a Thai mother and an Irish father, Harnett grew up in Finchley, north London. She attended Arts University College Bournemouth, where she studied for a degree in acting and appeared in student productions of plays such as ''One Thousand and One Nights''. For All We Know (NAO Album)
''For All We Know'' is the debut studio album by British electronic singer-songwriter Nao. It was released on 29 July 2016 by RCA and Little Tokyo Recordings. It has guest features by Abhi//Dijon and A. K. Paul, and received critical acclaim upon release. Recording and production The concept for the album came about when Nao began to feature vocals with other artists, such as Disclosure and Mura Masa. After the collaboration that she did with Disclosure on their song "Superego", it inspired Nao to work further and deeper into that genre of music. She wanted to make an album which was to bring her to fame and, after the collaborations, wanted her fans to have something to look forward to. The album title, ''For All We Know'' was named so after the 1934 jazz song of the same name, as a reference to the artist's background in the genre. NAO (singer)
Neo Jessica Joshua (born 20 December 1987), better known as Nao (), is an English singer-songwriter and record producer from East London. Her sound has been described as soul combined with electronic music, funk and R&B. Nao coined the term " wonky funk" to describe her style. She released her debut album, '' For All We Know'', in 2016, her second album, '' Saturn'', in 2018, followed by her most recent album, ''And Then Life Was Beautiful'', released in 2021. Background and early life Nao was the youngest of five children in her Jamaican mother's house, but is the only child of her mother and father, who raised her “as friends” between London and Nottingham, where he lives. Kiss is a British digital radio station owned and operated by Bauer as part of the Kiss Network. Huw Stephens
Huw Meredydd Stephens (born 25 May 1981) is a Welsh radio and television presenter, currently broadcasting on BBC Radio Wales, BBC Radio Cymru and BBC Radio 6 Music. Stephens founded the Sŵn music festival with John Rostron and the yearly showcase Welsh Language Music Day. Stephens produced the 2018 documentary film ''Anorac'' about the Welsh language music scene. Peter Michael Tong, (born 30 July 1960) is an English disc jockey who works for BBC Radio 1. He is the host of programmes such as ''Essential Mix'' and ''Essential Selection'' on the radio service, which can be heard through Internet radio streams, for his record label FFRR Records and for his own performances at nightclubs and music festivals. Tong has also worked as a record producer and is regarded as the "global ambassador for electronic music."
