Giv’on Ha’hadasha
Giv'on HaHadashah ( he, גִּבְעוֹן הַחֲדָשָׁה, ''lit.'' New Gibeon (ancient city), Gibeon) is an Israel settlement in the West Bank, built over land expropriated from the neighboring State of Palestine, Palestinian villages of Biddu, Jerusalem, Biddu, Beit Ijza, and Al Jib. Gibeon ( he, , ''Gīḇəʻōn''; grc-gre, Γαβαων, ''Gabaōn'') was a Canaanite and, later, an Israelite city which was located north of Jerusalem.
