Giovani Segura
Giovani Segura Aguilar (born 1 April 1982) is a Mexican professional boxer. He is a former WBA, WBO, Lineal and ''The Ring'' magazine light flyweight champion. Amateur career Giovani began boxing at the age of 15 and had an amateur record of 38–4. Professional career Segura made his professional debut on March 28, 2003. He accumulated a record of 18–0–1, which included wins against future champion Carlos Tamara and former champion Daniel Reyes. WBA Light Flyweight Champion Giovanni challenged Colombian César Canchila for the Interim WBA Light Flyweight title. Segura lost the bout by unanimous decision, but subsequently claimed the interim title by knocking out Canchila in a rematch on March 14, 2009. He was elevated to full champion on June 5, 2009. Light Flyweight
Light flyweight, also known as junior flyweight or super strawweight, is a weight class in boxing. Professional boxing The weight limit at light flyweight in professional boxing is 108 pounds (49 kilograms). When New York legalized boxing in 1920, the law stipulated a "junior flyweight" class, with a weight limit of 99 pounds. When the National Boxing Association was formed in 1921, it also recognized this weight class. However, on January 19, 1922, the NBA decided to withdraw recognition of the junior flyweight division. On December 31, 1929, the New York State Athletic Commission also abolished the junior flyweight class. No champion had been crowned in this division prior to its abolition. Manuel Vargas (born 29 March 1981) is a Mexican former professional boxer who competed from 2000 to 2013. He held the interim WBO minimumweight title from 2008 to 2009. Zitácuaro, officially known as Heroica Zitácuaro, is a city in the Mexican state of Michoacán. Hernán Márquez Beltrán (born September 4, 1988), commonly known by his nickname "Tyson" Márquez, is a Mexican professional boxer. He held the WBA flyweight title from 2011 to 2012, and has challenged once for the WBA interim super flyweight title in 2010.
