Gerardo Mejía (born April 16, 1965 Billboard.com – Biography – Gerardo Retrieved September 22, 2008.), better known by his mononym Gerardo, is an Ecuadorian-born American rapper, singer and actor who later became a recording industry executive, and more recently a pastor. Born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, he moved with his family to Glendale, California, when he was 12 years old. Based in Los Angeles, California, Gerardo became known for his bandana, skintight jeans, locking, and shirtless torso. He sometimes refers to himself as the "Latin Elvis" or the "Latin Frank Sinatra". Career Gerardo's first major appearance in show business was as Ricky in the 1987 feature film ''Can't Buy Me Love''. He was later cast as the character Bird in the 1988 film ''Colors'', about South Central Los Angeles gang violence. Jeff Tolle
Jeffrey Jay Tolle is the senior pastor of Vida Churcwww.vidachurch.org a church in the City of Los Angeles located in the community of North Hills. He is also the former pastor of CityLife Church (Ciudad de Vida) as well as a former youth pastor at La Iglesia En El Camino, which belongs to the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel (as is his wife, Evelyn Tolle). He is also the founder of Eleva. a Christian youth conference. Biography Tolle attended Los Angeles Baptist High School, where he served as the school’s ASB spiritual life chairman his senior year. After graduating in 1997, Tolle continued his education, receiving a bachelor's degree in music education from California State University, Northridge in 2001, where he was also a swimmer. He earned his master's degree in intercultural studies at Biola University. He was ordained as a minister in the Foursquare denomination in 2008. Spanglish
Spanglish (a portmanteau of the words "Spanish" and "English") is any language variety (such as a contact dialect, hybrid language, pidgin, or creole language) that results from conversationally combining Spanish and English. The term is mostly used in the United States and refers to a blend of the words and grammar of the two languages. More narrowly, Spanglish can specifically mean a variety of Spanish with heavy use of English loanwords. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums is a music chart published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine that ranks R&B and hip hop albums based on sales in the United States and is compiled by Nielsen SoundScan. The chart debuted as Hot R&B LPs in the issue dated January 30, 1965 in an effort by the magazine to further expand into the field of rhythm and blues music. Miss California USA is the beauty pageant that selects the representative for the state of California in the Miss USA pageant, and the name of the title held by that winner. The pageant is directed by Crown Diva Productions. Nadia Grace Eicher Mejia (born 22 November 1995) is an American-Ecuadorian model and beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss California USA 2016 and placed in the Top 5 at Miss USA 2016. The Miss West Virginia USA competition is the pageant that selects the representative for the state of West Virginia in the Miss USA pageant. This pageant is independently conducted and produced by Sanders & Associates, Inc., dba- Pageant Associates based in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Although West Virginia has not produced a Miss USA, four West Virginian delegates have placed: Kristen Morrison in 2005, Jessi Pierson in 2009, Chelsea Welch in 2013, and Nichole Greene in 2016.
