General William Mitchell High School
Mitchell High School is the third-oldest high school in District 11 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, built in 1965 and named for aviation pioneer Billy Mitchell. Mitchell High School is the only school in the district to feature a planetarium. The school's colors are orange and navy blue, and the mascot is the Marauder. The school's rival was Roy J. Wasson High School until the closure of that school. Colorado Springs is a home rule municipality in, and the county seat of, El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is the largest city in El Paso County, with a population of 478,961 at the 2020 United States Census, a 15.02% increase since 2010. Colorado Springs is the second-most populous city and the most extensive city in the state of Colorado, and the 40th-most populous city in the United States. Gene Krug
Gary Eugene Krug (born February 12, 1955) is an American former professional baseball player. He appeared in seven Major League games as a pinch hitter for the Chicago Cubs during the 1981 season. He had two hits in five at bats, including a single in his first big-league plate appearance on April 29 against Lary Sorensen of the St. Louis Cardinals, in a game that ended in a 2–2 tie. Krug attended Lamar Community College and the University of Oklahoma, and was selected by the Cubs in the 29th round of the 1977 Major League Baseball Draft. David Nevue
David Nevue (born 1965) is an American solo piano composer and a pianist. He is the founder of online radio station "Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio". Online radio work Nevue established the "Whisperings: Solo Piano Radio" internet radio station in August 2003 as a vehicle for promoting his own particular brand of piano music. Believing that the days of the traditional music industry were numbered, he decided to bypass the process of sending demos to record labels, and to use the web to promote his music on his own. Nevue began promoting his music online in 1995, and by 2001, he was able to make music his full-time career. Whisperings started out as part of the Live365.com family of independent online radio stations, but eventually grew beyond just Live365.com. In the United States military, a general is the most senior general-grade officer; it is the highest achievable commissioned officer rank (or echelon) that may be attained in the United States Armed Forces, with exception of the Navy and Coast Guard, which have the equivalent rank of admiral instead. Robin Rand (born 1956) is a retired United States Air Force general and former commander of Air Force Global Strike Command. He also concurrently served as the commander of Air Forces Strategic, United States Strategic Command, a command that provides combat-ready forces to conduct strategic nuclear deterrence and global strike operations in support of combatant commanders. Darryl Pollard (born May 11, 1964 in Ellsworth, Maine) is a former professional American football player who played cornerback for seven seasons in the National Football League (NFL). His listed highlights are the Super Bowl XXIII and XXIV championships, and playing on an undefeated Colorado State High School Championship team in 1981.
