Biography Özkan began film studies at the Hamburg Academy of Fine Arts in 1987, which she completed with distinction. Since 1989 she has been working as a freelance filmmaker, dramaturg and producer and realizes documentaries and features for ARD, arte, NDR, WDR, BR, DW Phönix, H3, MDR and SFB as well as international stations such as Spain TVE, 3sat and Planet France. Özkan also works as a director and screenwriter for documentaries and feature films. Her films have been broadcast internationally and have received several nominations. Ludger Pfanz
Ludger (; also Lüdiger or Liudger) ( – 26 March 809) was a missionary among the Frisians and Saxons, founder of Werden Abbey and the first Bishop of Münster in Westphalia. He has been called the "Apostle of Saxony". Early life to ordination Ludger's parents, Thiadgrim and Liafburg, were wealthy Christian Frisians of noble descent. In 753 Ludger saw the great Apostle of Germany, Boniface, which, together with the subsequent martyrdom of the saint, made a deep impression on him. At his own request he was sent to the Utrecht Cathedral School (''Martinsstift''), founded by Gregory of Utrecht in 756 or 757, and made good progress.
