Türkan Şoray
Türkan Şoray (born 28 June 1945) is a Turkish actress, writer and film director. She is known as "Sultan" of the Cinema of Turkey. She started her career in 1960, and won her first award as the most successful actress at the 1st Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival for the movie '' Acı Hayat''. Having appeared in more than 222 films, Şoray has starred in the most feature films for a female actress worldwide. On 12 March 2010, Şoray was chosen as a UNICEF goodwill ambassador in Turkey, about which she said: "I think there is nothing that cannot be done with love. If we combine power with love, we can overcome many problems". Atıf Yılmaz
Atıf Yılmaz Batıbeki (9 December 1925 – 5 May 2006) was a renowned Turkish film director, screenwriter, and film producer. He was very much a legend in the film industry of Turkey with 119 movies directed. He also wrote screenplays for 53 movies and produced 28 movies from 1951 right up till his death in 2006. He was active in almost every period of the Turkish film industry. Early life Atıf Yılmaz was born on 9 December 1925 in Mersin, Turkey to a Kurdish family originally from Palu. After finishing high school in Mersin, he attended the Law School of Istanbul University. Because of his interest in arts, he dropped out of Law School and entered the Painting Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Istanbul. Ediz Hun (born 20 November 1940) is a Turkish film actor and politician. Biography Hun was born in 1940 to a Circassian father and a Turkish mother. After studying at the St. George's Austrian High School in Istanbul, he graduated in Biology and Environmental Science from the University of Trondheim in Norway. After he had participated in a contest organized by Ses (The Voice) magazine he was noticed by producers. He made his debut in 1963 with "''Genç Kızlar''" (Young Girls) opposite Hülya Koçyiğit. Süleyman Turan (19 November 1936 – 10 September 2019) was a Turkish film and theater actor. Süleyman Turan died at the age of 82 in Istanbul on 10 September 2019. Following the religious funeral service held at Şakirin Mosque, he was interred at Karacaahmet Cemetery. He had a daughter, Beliz Turan.
