Gökdelen Towers
Gökdelen Towers is a two-tower luxury residential complex located in Samsun, Turkey. Construction of the two buildings began in 2012 and was completed in 2018. The development consists of two high-rise residential towers. Tower One stands and 30 floors. Tower Two stands and 27 floors. The complex has 212 residential units and is 625,000 square feet. Gökdelen Tower One is the tallest building in Samsun Province and the Central Black Sea region. History The towers are set at one of the highest points in Samsun and offer expansive views of the surrounding region. Samsun's rapid economic and population development has led to the construction of a new generation of high-rise apartment buildings. Samsun

Samsun Province () is a province and metropolitan municipality of Turkey on the Black Sea coast. Its area is 9,725 km2, and its population is 1,368,488 (2022). Its adjacent provinces are Sinop on the northwest, Çorum on the west, Amasya on the south, Tokat on the southeast on the east. Its traffic code is 55. Sheraton Hotel Samsun
The Sheraton Hotel Samsun is a hotel in Samsun, Turkey. The hotel is Samsun's second tallest building with 28 floors and a height of 115 meters. The building was completed in 2015 and is located along the seafront of the city to the north of its port on Atatürk Boulevard. The hotel belongs to the Sheraton Hotels and Resorts chain. Design and history The hotel was designed by Turkish architect Turgut Toydemir. Construction of the hotel began in 2013 and was completed in late 2015 in anticipation of the 2017 Summer Deaflympics which was held in Samsun, Turkey. The hotel was constructed by RIC Construction on behalf of Tanrıverdi Holdings. The building cost $60 million to complete. Construction on the hotel was halted in 2013 by court order, whereupon the height of the building was ordered reduced from 160 meters to 115 meters. Atakum
Atakum is a municipality and district of Samsun Province, Turkey. Its area is 351 km2, and its population is 242,171 (2022). Atakum is a largely middle class suburban district located to the west of the primary city of Samsun and further suburban Ondokuzmayıs. The city's population expanded rapidly beginning in the 1990s and continues to grow at a healthy pace. The city consists largely of middle class housing blocks with ground floor retail and a mix of office uses. In 2009, the city undertook a significant waterfront redevelopment campaign which entailed the construction of a beachfront and pedestrian promenade. Construction of the waterfront promenade and Tram was led by former Samsun Province governor Yusuf Ziya Yılmaz. Ondokuz Mayıs University (OMU) is a major state university founded in 1975 in Samsun, Turkey. The university bears the name “19 May”, which marks the date when Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Republic of Turkey, came to Samsun in order to start the War of Independence.
