Génesis Cabrera (; born October 10, 1996) is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, and New York Mets. Career Tampa Bay Rays Cabrera signed with the Tampa Bay Rays as an international free agent in November 2013. He made his professional debut in 2014 with the Dominican Summer League Rays, going 2–1 with a 2.45 earned run average (ERA) in innings pitched. The Bowling Green Hot Rods are a Minor League Baseball team of the South Atlantic League and the High-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays.
