Gaeleri is a Swedish hard rock band from Helsingborg still active. The band was formed in 1992 when the remains of Seventeen found a new singer in Anders Vidhav (Bengtsson). Their ability to mix a hard and heavy pounding background with melodic colourful acoustic sound creates the unique sound that has always been the trade mark of the band. The band has between 1992 and 2024 released for full-length albums, one double-single and six singles and can be found on several hard rock compilations. History The '90s - taking off The band was formed in November 1992 when the remaining three quarters of the band 17 – Seventeen, Niklas Rollgard, Jonas Andersson (Scratch, Unameous) and Patrik Borgkvist ( Anette Olzen) joined forces with Anders Vidhav (Båga Biit, Derringer, Pudelsi). Hard rock or heavy rock is a heavier subgenre of rock music typified by aggressive vocals and Distortion (music), distorted electric guitars. Album-oriented rock (AOR, originally called album-oriented radio) is an FM radio format created in the United States in the late 1960s that focuses on the full repertoire of rock albums and is currently associated with classic rock. US radio stations dedicated to playing album tracks by rock artists from the hard rock and progressive rock genres initially established album-oriented radio. In the mid-1970s, AOR was characterized by a layered, mellifluous sound and sophisticated production with considerable dependence on melodic hooks. The AOR format achieved tremendous popularity in the late 1960s to the early 1980s through research and formal programming to create an album rock format with great commercial appeal. Anette Olzen
Anette Ingegerd Olsson (born 21 June 1971), known by the stage name Anette Olzon, is a Swedish singer, best known as the former lead vocalist of Finnish symphonic metal band Nightwish from 2007 to 2012. She is also the vocalist of Swedish classic rock band Alyson Avenue, and of the Finnish heavy metal band The Dark Element. Early life Olzon was raised in a musical family and has been singing since childhood. Her mother also forced her to play the oboe for eight years. She toured with her mother's band and sang with them on some occasions. Later, she started to take part in various talent shows and received laudable recognition. The first band she joined at seventeen years of age (Take Cover) was a cover band. However, it was short-lived as she took part in several bands and projects.
