Nemzeti Bajnokság III
Nemzeti Bajnokság III (''NB III'', ''National Championship III'') is the third tier of Football in Hungary, Hungarian football (from the autumn of 1997 till the spring of 2005, NB III was the fourth tier, the third was NB II). The tier contains 4 groups (northeast, northwest, southeast and southwest) of 16 teams. From NB III, the champions of each group will battle promotion play-off, two teams winning play-off are promoted to the Nemzeti Bajnokság II, NB II. The three lowest teams of each group and two worst 13th place teams are relegated to the first tier of local divisions (''Megyei Bajnokság I, MB I''). From NB II, the four lowest teams are relegated to NB III from 2024–25 season. 2022–23 Megyei Bajnokság I
The 2022–23 Megyei Bajnokság I includes the championships of 20 counties in Hungary. It is the fourth tier of the Hungarian football league system. Bács-Kiskun Kiskunfélegyháza and Bácsalmás were the only team to acquire the NB III license for next season. Bácsalmás was ineligible based on league position and the champion declined the participation before the promotion play-offs for financial reasons. Gyöngyös
Gyöngyös is a town in Heves County, Hungary, beside of the Gyöngyös creek, under the Mátra mountain ranges. As of 2022 census, it has a population of 27,957 (see Demographics). The town is located 8.4 km from the M3 motorway and 80.8 km from Budapest. Gyöngyös is terminus of the (Nr. 85) Vámosgyörk–Gyöngyös railway line and the main road 3 lead across the town. Gyöngyös have a train station and a stop on the standard-gauge railway line and two narrow-gauge railways also start from here to the mountains for tourist purposes. History The settlement got its name from the stream that crosses the town, which may refer to the mistletoe that often occurs on the waterfront, or to the ''pearly'' water. The 2017–18 Nemzeti Bajnokság III is Hungary's third-level Association football, football competition. On 20 June 2017, the play-offs finished and the full tables were formed. On 26 June 2017, it was announced that the Hungarian Football Federation did not accept the of Szigetszentmiklósi TK. On 12 July 2017, the Hungarian Football Federation issued the three groups of the 2017–18 season. On 28 March 2018, the Somos SE, STC Salgótarján announced its withdrawal from the 2017–18 Nemzeti Bajnokság III season. The results for Somos SE, STC Salgótarján were deleted for the entire season due to their withdrawal. Heves I
Heves is a small town in eastern Hungary. About 100 km east of Budapest, Heves lies at the northern extreme of the Great Hungarian Plain, just south of the Mátra and Bükk hills and west of the Tisza River. Heves gave its name to Heves County, however it is not its seat and it is the fourth largest town in the county. The closest major city is Eger, which lies 40 km to the north. Heves is a significant transportation hub for the towns and agricultural areas of southern Heves County. Demographics Heves is home to approximately 11,000 residents. The Hungarian Cup (, ), officially known as MOL Magyar Kupa for sponsorship reasons, is the Hungarian cup competition for football clubs. It was started by the Hungarian Football Association'','' in 1909, eight years after the commencement of the Hungarian League. Besides all of the professional clubs of Hungary numerous amateur sides take part every year. These have to qualify through local cup competitions. The 2017–18 Magyar Kupa (English: ''Hungarian Cup'') was the 78th season of Hungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. Újpest FC won the cup beating Puskás Akadémia FC in the final at the Groupama Aréna. The title-holders, Ferencváros were eliminated in the second round by Kisvárda FC.
