Guyana Amazon Warriors
The Guyana Amazon Warriors is a cricket team of the Caribbean Premier League based in Providence, Georgetown, Guyana. It represents Guyana in the league and was established in 2013 for the inaugural season. The team plays home games at Providence Stadium in Guyana. They recruit players mainly from West Indian domestic teams. They have reached six CPL finals and won their first tournament in 2023. History The Guyana Amazon Warriors were among the six teams established for the inaugural season of the Caribbean Premier League in 2013. Imran Tahir
Mohammad Imran Tahir (; born 27 March 1979) is a South African former international cricketer. A spin bowler who predominantly bowls googlies and a right-handed batsman, Tahir played for South Africa in all three formats of cricket. On 15 June 2016, Tahir became the first South African bowler to take seven wickets in an ODI, and also the fastest South African to reach 100 ODI wickets (58 matches). Lasith Malinga
Separamadu Lasith Malinga (; ; born 28 August 1983) is a Sri Lankan former cricketer who is widely regarded as one of the greatest limited overs bowlers of all time. Playing as a right-arm fast bowler, Malinga was commonly used as a specialist death bowler, and captained the Sri Lanka national cricket team to the 2014 T20 World Cup title. The Trinbago Knight Riders (formerly the Trinidad and Tobago Red Steel) are a franchise cricket team of the Caribbean Premier League based in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. The Red Steel was one of the original six teams created for the tournament's inaugural 2013 season. Their home ground is Queen's Park Oval. They are the most successful team in the CPL, with 4 titles as of the end of the 2023 season of Caribbean Premier League. In 2015, Knight Riders Group, the parent company of Indian Premier League team Kolkata Knight Riders, purchased stake in the Red Steel. The Red Steel went on to win the 2015 tournament. 2015 Caribbean Premier League
The 2015 Caribbean Premier League or for sponsorship reasons, Hero CPL 2015 was the third season of the Caribbean Premier League, established by the West Indies Cricket Board. It began on 20 June and ended on 26 July. This season saw the introduction of a new team, the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots as a replacement for the defunct franchise Antigua Hawksbills. This season also saw Dwayne Bravo establish the record for taking the most number of wickets in a single season, with 28 wickets to his name in 13 matches with one 5-wicket and a couple of 4-wicket hauls. Jimmy Neesham
James Douglas Sheahan Neesham (born 17 September 1990), better known as Jimmy Neesham, is a New Zealand international cricketer who plays for the national team. He also plays in various T20 leagues around the globe as an all-rounder. He was a member of the New Zealand squads that finished as runners-up at the 2019 Cricket World Cup and the 2021 T20 World Cup. Mohammad Hafeez ( Punjabi and ; born 17 October 1980) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer. He was a member of the Pakistan team that won the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, and had a major role in the final, where he scored an unbeaten innings of 57. He retired from Test cricket after the third and final match against New Zealand in Abu Dhabi in December 2018, departing the ground for the final time in white clothing to a guard of honour from his teammates. Martin James Guptill (born 30 September 1986) is a New Zealand cricketer and former international cricketer who played as an opening batsman in all formats of the game but pre-dominantly in limited-overs. Warner Park
Warner Park is a municipal park and ballpark on the northeast side of Madison, Wisconsin near Lake Mendota. Since 2001, Warner Park has been the home to the Madison Mallards, a member of the Northwoods League (baseball). In 2024, the Madison Night Mares, a women's collegiate softball team in the Northwoods League, play their home games at Warner Park. Its stadium, nicknamed the "Duck Pond," was built in 1982 for the now-defunct Madison Muskies and has a capacity of 6,750. Barbados Royals
The Barbados Royals (previously known as the Barbados Tridents) are the representative franchise cricket team of Barbados in the Caribbean Premier League. They are one of the six teams specifically created in 2013 for the 2013 Caribbean Premier League, inaugural season of the tournament. Hollywood actor Mark Wahlberg had an equity interest in the team since 2013 after he was introduced to the game by his friend Ajmal Khan, the club's chairman and CPL architect. Krishmar Santokie
Krishmar Santokie (born 20 December 1984) is a former cricketer who played for Jamaica and represented the West Indies in Twenty20 Internationals. He bowled left-arm medium pace and was a lower order batsman. Domestic career He represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Caribbean Premier League in 2013. His slingy action & ability to deliver deceiving slower balls has made him an asset to T20 teams.
