Gustavo Cárdenas Gutiérrez
Gustavo Adolfo Cárdenas Gutiérrez (born 25 January 1958) is a Mexican businessman and politician affiliated with Movimiento Ciudadano (formerly from the National Action Party). He represents Tamaulipas and the second electoral region in the Chamber of Deputies for the LXIII Legislature of the Mexican Congress and has previously been a federal deputy and senator from the same state. Life Cárdenas got his first job in operations at XEEW radio in Matamoros and worked at the El Bernal shredding plant in González as he pursued a degree in business administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas. He also became the director general of a hotel in Ciudad Victoria and of Cerámica Santa Mónica, S.A. de C.V. Matamoros, officially known as Heroica Matamoros, is a city in the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas, and the municipal seat of the homonymous municipality. It is on the southern bank of the Rio Grande, directly across the border from Brownsville, Texas, United States. Matamoros is the second largest city in the state of Tamaulipas. As of 2016, Matamoros had a population of 520,367. In addition, the Matamoros–Brownsville Metropolitan Area has a population of 1,387,985, making it the 4th largest metropolitan area on the Mexico–US border. This is a list of governors of Tamaulipas since it became a state of Mexico in 1822, it includes the list of governors of Nuevo Santander (New Santander) the name of the Spanish province in northeast New Spain before the Mexican War of Independence, which included present-day Tamaulipas and South Texas.
