Guillermo Hincapié Orozco
Guillermo Hincapié Orozco (c. 1926 – December 26, 2018) was a Colombian civil engineer and politician. He served as the Mayor of Medellín from July 15, 1977, until 1978. Biography Hincapié was raised in the town of Támesis, Antioquia, where he attended elementary school. He studied engineering at the National University of Civil Engineering in Medellín. He had to compete with 80 other applicants to gain acceptances into the university. Hincapié recalled financial issues during his time at the university, but did not miss a single exam during his time as a student. To make ends meet, he sought a job at the Antioquia Railway, but was rejected. Following his graduation from National University, Hincapié was hired as the Secretary of Public Works for the municipality of Bello, Antioquia, for about eight months. ''Noticias Caracol'' (until 9 October 2007 ''Caracol Noticias'') is the name for all the national newscast from the news division of Caracol Televisión which carries the same name. It is broadcast four times on weekdays and twice on weekends. In January 2015 the new director is Juan Roberto Vargas and the second director is Alberto Medina Lopez. Before becoming a network, Caracol Televisión produced the morning newscast ''7:30 Caracol'' in the mid-1990s. Several well-known Colombian journalists, such as Claudia Palacios, Érika Fontalvo, and María Cristina Uribe were also news presenters of ''Caracol Noticias''. Yamid Amat was its director until March 2002. The newsroom and studio was built in nine months before ''Caracol Noticias first airing, on 10 July 1998. El Poblado
El Poblado is the 14th commune (Medellín), commune in the Metropolitan Area of Medellín, metropolitan area of the city of Medellín, Colombia. According to a 2005 census the population was 94,704, distributed among its land area of 23 km2, and by the year 2015, it had a population of 128,839. The comuna consists of 24 barrios, and is located in the south-east of the city. Alfonso López Michelsen
Alfonso López Michelsen (30 June 1913 – 11 July 2007) was a Colombian politician and lawyer who served as the 24th President of Colombia from 1974 to 1978. He was nicknamed "El Pollo" (The Chicken), a popular Colombian idiom for people with precocious careers. Early years López was the son of former two-time president of Colombia, Alfonso López Pumarejo and his first wife María Michelsen Lombana, who was of Danish descent. He was born and raised in Bogotá.
