Guillermo "Memo" Gonzalez (born January 4, 1986, in Paramount, California) is an American soccer player, currently without a team. Career Professional Gonzalez was member of the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida in 2003 (the same class as Eddie Gaven and Freddy Adu), and became one of the youngest players in MLS history when Los Angeles Galaxy drafted him as a Project-40 player with the eighth overall pick of the 2003 MLS SuperDraft at the age of 16. Guillermo spent most of his first year in the professional ranks playing with the United States U-17 national team, and played at the Under-17 World Championship in Finland. In his four years in Major League Soccer, Gonzalez did not see much playing time due to his youth team commitments, a cluttered Galaxy midfield, and his own lackluster performances in his limited appearances. Guillermo Gonzalez (astronomer)
Guillermo Gonzalez (born 1963) is a Cuban-born American astronomer who is a proponent of the pseudoscientific principle of intelligent design and a research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He is a senior fellow of the Discovery Institute's Center for Science and Culture, considered the hub of the intelligent design movement, and a fellow with the International Society for Complexity, Information and Design, which also promotes intelligent design. Education and career Gonzalez obtained a BS in 1987 in physics and astronomy from University of Arizona and his Ph.D. in astronomy from the University of Washington in 1993. He has done post-doctoral work at the University of Texas, Austin and the University of Washington. Guillermo González Camarena (17 February 1917 – 18 April 1965) was a Mexican electrical engineer who made a color-wheel type of color television. Early life González Camarena was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. His parents were from the town of Arandas, Jalisco. He was the youngest of seven siblings. One of his brothers, Jorge González Camarena, is a famous Mexican muralist. González Camarena graduated as an electrical engineer from the National Polytechnic Institute in Mexico City. Death He died in a car crash in Puebla on April 18, 1965 at the age of 48, returning from inspecting a television transmitter in Las Lajas, Veracruz. Guillermo Gonzalez is a Spanish classical pianist. Career Guillermo Gonzalez studied music with José Cubiles, Vlado Perlemuter and Jean-Paul Sevilla at the Conservatory of Santa Cruz of Tenerife, then later in Madrid, at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música, and in Paris, at the Schola Cantorum and the Conservatoire Superieur de Musique. Guillermo Gonzales (born October 21, 1976) is an Italian singer, songwriter and musician. Biography From 1994 to 2008, Gonzales was the frontman of the Italian extreme metal band Mothercare, especially known for their collaboration with Mark Greenway from Napalm Death and Mieszko Talarczyk from Nasum. After leaving Mothercare in September 2008, two months later he was called by long-time friend Davide Tiso to substitute Luciano George Lorusso as Ephel Duath's vocalist, but this experience came to an end shortly, as the band parted ways with their long-time label Earache in 2009.
