Guerreros Fútbol Club
Guerreros de Hermosillo Fútbol Club were a Mexican football team who played in Hermosillo in the state of Sonora. History The Guerreros de Hermosillo purchased the rights of Real Colima to play in the Liga de Ascenso, becoming the fourth team from Sonora to play in the second-tier league. The club was presented on 28 July 2009 and debuted four days later in a 2–0 defeat to the Dorados de Sinaloa. Salvador Vázquez scored the first goal in club history in their fifth match. Their first manager, Gastón Obledo, was sacked after eight matches and replaced by Santiago Ostolaza. In the 2010 Apertura season, manager José Treviño led the Guerreros to their best season, a ninth-place finish, missing out on the Liguilla playoffs by goal difference. This was in spite of the fact that they were forced to play their home fixtures in alternating cities due to improvements to the Estadio Héroe de Nacozari. Marcelino Bernal
Marcelino Bernal Pérez (born 27 May 1962) is a Mexican former professional Association football, footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career A talented all-around midfielder who was able to win possession effectively as well as score goals, Bernal spent most of his club career with Puebla and Toluca. Ascenso MX
Ascenso MX, also known as Ascenso BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, was a professional association football league in Mexico and the second level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Primera División A de México (1994–2009) and also as Liga de Ascenso (2009–2012). The champions of the competition was promoted to Liga MX (top level), and the bottom team was relegated to Liga Premier (third level). In 2012, the league rebranded its name and competition format as Ascenso MX, the major changes (clubs do not need a FMF certification to be promoted and that the competition no longer used group stages). The 2009-2010 season was the first under the new name Liga de Ascenso, renamed from Primera A. Also the Clausura part of the tournament was renamed Bicentenario 2010 in honor of the 200 year anniversary of the declaration for Mexican Independence. 2010–11 Liga De Ascenso Season
The 2010–11 Ascenso MX season is the second season of the Liga de Ascenso, the second-level football league of Mexico. It consists of two separate tournaments, the Apertura and the Clausura. The winners of both tournaments will meet in a playoff to determine the team being promoted to the 2011–12 Primera Division de Mexico season. The Apertura tournament began on July, 16th 2010 with the first matches of the classification phase and ended on December, 4th 2010 with the Apertura Liguilla final. The final was won by Tijuana, who defeated Veracruz 3–0 on aggregate. The Clausura tournament began on January, 7th 2011 and ended on May, 14th 2011. Estadio Héroe De Nacozari
Estadio Héroe de Nacozari is a multi-use stadium in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of the Cimarrones de Sonora of the Ascenso MX.
