Green
Green is the color between cyan and yellow on the visible spectrum. It is evoked by light which has a dominant wavelength of roughly 495570 nm. Stefan Grun is a former Australian Rules Football field umpire in the Australian Football League. He retired during the 2012 AFL season after having umpired 107 AFL matches and was elected President of the AFL Umpires Association in 2013. Grun was one of two umpires injured during Round 6, 2004, which was the round that re-sparked debate about umpire-player collisions. Umpires had always been protected, with harsh suspensions handed down to players who collide with them. This incident demonstrated a change in interpretation of the AFL rules by the judiciary. Sara Gruen (born 1969 in Vancouver) is a Canadian-American author. She is a 2007 recipient of the Alex Award for young adult literature. Early life and education Gruen was born in Vancouver, British Columbia. She grew up in London, Ontario. She has claimed that at age 15, she was left to survive as street urchin. She attended Carleton University in Ottawa and graduated with a degree in English literature. She continued to live in Ottawa for 10 years after graduation. Career Gruen moved to the United States from Ottawa in 1999 for a technical writing job. When she was laid off two years later, she decided to try writing fiction. Gruen is an animal lover; both her first novel, ''Riding Lessons'', and her second novel, ''Flying Changes'', involve horses. Otto Grün was a German mathematician. He was known primarily for his work in the theory of finite groups, which have often been praised for being foundational to further developments in the field. Karl Theodor Ferdinand Grün (; 30 September 1817 – 18 February 1887), also known by his alias Ernst von der Haide, was a German journalist, philosopher, political theorist and socialist politician. He played a prominent role in radical political movements leading up to the Revolution of 1848 and participated in the revolution. He was an associate of Heinrich Heine, Ludwig Feuerbach, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Karl Marx, Mikhail Bakunin and other radical political figures of the era. Although less widely known today, Grün was an important figure in the German ''Vormärz'', Young Hegelian philosophy and the democratic and socialist movements in nineteenth-century Germany. Jakob Moritz Grün (; 13 March 1837 – 1 October 1916) was an Austrian violinist of Hungarian origin. After positions as principal violinist in the court orchestras of Weimar and Hannover, he was, from 1868 to 1897, concertmaster of the Vienna State Opera, Vienna Court Opera Orchestra.
