Grégory Duruz
Grégory Duruz (born 20 April 1977) is a Swiss former professional footballer who played as a left-back. He is entrepreneur and now football coach and experience sports coach. Club career Sion Duruz played in the youth department of FC Sion and advanced to their first team in 1996 signing his first professional contract. In the 1996–97 season they won the championship. From January to June 1997 he was loaned out to SR Delémont and from July until December the same year loaned out to Vevey Sports. He then returned to his club of origin and became regular starter. In the 1998–99 season they suffered relegation but in the 1999–2000 Nationalliga A they achieved immediate re-promotion. Duruz stayed with the club two further seasons. Christian Gross
Christian Jürgen Gross (born 14 August 1954) is a Swiss football manager and former player. He played as a sweeper and central midfielder. Gross was manager of Basel from 1999 to 2009, winning four Swiss Super Leagues and four Swiss Cups. As manager of Tottenham Hotspur between November 1997 and September 1998, Gross became the first Swiss to manage in the Premier League. Playing career Gross began his playing career at SV Höngg before moving to Grasshopper in 1965, which he left in 1976. After two years at Lausanne-Sport and two seasons at Neuchâtel Xamax, he moved to Germany in 1980 to play for VfL Bochum of the Bundesliga. The 2002–03 season of the Swiss Nationalliga contained two divisions, each with twelve clubs. The top tier was called Nationalliga A (NLA) (, ) and the second tier was named Nationalliga B (NLB). Overview The season was divided into two phases. The first of which was the qualification phase, and within the divisions the teams played a double round-robin, one at home and the other away. The divisions were then split. The first eight teams of the NLA then competed in the championship group and played a further double round-robin. The teams in ninth to twelfth position competed with the top four teams of the NLB in a promotion/relegation group to decide which two teams would play top tier next season. The 2002–03 UEFA Champions League first group stage matches took place between 17 September and 13 November 2002. The draw for the group stage was made on 29 August 2002 in Monaco. The group stage featured the 16 automatic qualifiers and the 16 winners of the third qualifying round. Each team was drawn into one of eight groups but avoided teams from their own country.
