Græsted
Græsted is one of the main towns of the Gribskov municipality in the Danish Region Hovedstaden. The town is in northern Sjælland, just south of Gilleleje, and has a population of 3,662 (1 January 2025). The whole of Græsted Parish had 4769 inhabitants (2004). History Græsted's original name was Gresholdt, which means a place with grass and forest. Gresholdt is mentioned for the first time in Esrum Klosterbog in 1299. The area then belonged to Holbo Herred. On 20 January 1880, the railroad between Græsted and Hillerød was inaugurated. This meant that development of the city escalated, with the construction of a post office, supply association, cooperative dairy, cooperative bakery and mill, as well as savings banks and industry. Græsted was for years the leading town in the area. Transport Græsted is served by Græsted railway station, located on the Gribskov railway line. Gribskov Line
The Gribskov Line or the Gribskov Railway () is a local railway, local passenger railway line in North Zealand north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The line runs north from Hillerød through the Gribskov forest and splits into two branches to the seaside resort towns of Tisvildeleje and Gilleleje. Connecting the wide belt of holiday homes along the northern coast of Zealand (Denmark), Zealand with Copenhagen is an important role of the Gribskov Line. The railway is standard gauge and single track (rail), single track. It opened in various sections between 1880 and 1924. The distance from Hillerød to either Tisvildeleje or Gilleleje is about , with the total track length being . The railway is currently owned by Hovedstadens Lokalbaner and operated by the railway company Lokaltog. Græsted South halt (; previously: ''Pibemose Trinbræt'') is a railway halt serving the southern part of the town of Græsted in North Zealand, Denmark. Græsted South is located on the Gribskov Line from Hillerød to Gilleleje. The train services are operated by the railway company Lokaltog which runs frequent local train services between Hillerød station and Gilleleje station. Sólrun Løkke Rasmussen
Sólrun Jákupsdóttir Løkke Rasmussen (born 22 November 1968) is the wife of the former Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Løkke Rasmussen. Early life and family Rasmussen was born Sólrun Jákupsdóttir on 22 November 1968 in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. She is the daughter of chief physician Jákup Petersen and lecturer Bergljót av Skarði. Her mother's parents were the Tjóðveldi politician Sigurð Joensen and the writer Sigrið av Skarði, who was the daughter of the Faroese folk educationist and poet Símun av Skarði. Gribskov Municipality
Gribskov Municipality () is a municipality (Danish language, Danish, ''Commune (subnational entity), kommune'') in the Capital Region of Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 278 km2, and has a total population of 41,797. The municipality was created on 1 January 2007 as a merger of the former municipalities of Græsted-Gilleleje and Helsinge (municipality), Helsinge.
