Grey Wolf And Little Red Riding Hood
''Seryi Volk & Krasnaya Shapochka'', (''Grey Wolf and Little Red Riding Hood / Серый Волк энд Красная Шапочка'') is a claymation film, produced in the USSR by Garri Bardin in 1990, a year before the USSR actually did break up. The film is considered a parody of the demise of the USSR blended into the children's story of "Little Red Riding Hood". Summary The Grey Wolf swallows up people from all walks of life, even though they have done nothing against him and even a doctor who fixed a set of teeth for him, against his better judgement as the wolf was forced by the authorities to lose his original set of teeth for previous undisclosed trouble. Eventually everyone inside him break free after doing their best to keep feeling happy and calm, led by the elderly grandmother of whom the wolf must have assumed would have been the weakest and least likely to start a revolt. Claymation
Claymation, sometimes called clay animation or plasticine animation, is one of many forms of stop-motion animation. Each animated piece, either character or background, is "deformable"—made of a malleable substance, usually plasticine clay. Traditional animation, from cel animation to stop motion, is produced by recording each frame, or still picture, on film or digital media and then playing the recorded frames back in rapid succession before the viewer. These and other moving images, from zoetrope to films and video games, create the illusion of motion by playing back at over ten to twelve frame rate, frames per second. These recordings were made by Tony Martin, Paul Weston, Bing Crosby (recorded 22 June 1950), Ralph Flanagan, Victor Young, Dean Martin, and Louis Armstrong. A version in 1977 by Grace Jones was also a successful international hit. Background and release The song's title can be translated as "Life in happy hues", "Life seen through rose-coloured glasses", or "Life in rosy hues"; its literal meaning is "Life in Pink." The lyrics of the song were written by Piaf, with music composed by Louiguy, and is registered with SACEM. It was probably Robert Chauvigny who completed the music.
