Grete Mogensen
Grete Mogensen (born 15 May 1963, later Grete Kragekjær) is a retired female badminton player from Denmark. She competed at the 1992 Summer Olympics. Career She won the bronze medal at the 1991 IBF World Championships in mixed doubles with Jon Holst-Christensen. Grete Kragekjær (previously Mogensen) won the gold medal with Jon Holst-Christensen in mixed doubles at the European Championships in 1990, the same year as they became Danish Champions. In 1993 they won the All England title but lost the final in another World Championships in 1993. Grete won the Danish Championships in Women's doubles both in 1992 and 1993, and in 1991 she became Danish Champion in mixed doubles with Holst-Christensen. She played 47 matches for the Danish national team between 1983-1993. Jon Holst-Christensen (born 16 June 1968) is a retired male badminton player from Denmark who is the son of two great badminton players in the 60's, and Tonny Holst-Christensen. Jon is prominent in men's and mixed doubles for Denmark team alongside players such as Thomas Lund and Michael Sogaard. Career In his illustrious career, Jon has won several big titles which includes 2 All England Open titles in both men and mixed doubles categories in 1993, 3 times European Champions (2 in men's doubles and 1 in mixed), Japan Open, and Denmark Open. The Luzhniki Small Sports Arena (formerly, the Minor Arena of the Central Lenin Stadium; ) is an 8,700-seat indoor arena that is part of the Luzhniki Sports Complex in Moscow, Russia. The arena was built in 1956 in the Soviet Union. It hosted volleyball competitions during the 1980 Summer Olympics. Catrine Bengtsson (born 21 September 1969) is a Swedish badminton player. Thomas Lund
Thomas Haubro Lund (born 2 August 1968) is a retired badminton player from Denmark who affiliate with Kastrup Magleby club. Career Lund was one of the world's leading doubles specialists of the 1990s, particularly in mixed doubles. He was a silver medalist in both men's and mixed doubles at the 1991 IBF World Championships. In 1993 and 1995 he won consecutive gold medals in mixed doubles at the IBF World Championships, the first with Sweden's Catrine Bengtsson and the second with his compatriot Marlene Thomsen. From 1990 through 1994 Lund won five consecutive mixed doubles titles with three different partners at the now defunct World Badminton Grand Prix. Utilita Arena Birmingham (previously known as Arena Birmingham, The Barclaycard Arena, originally as the National Indoor Arena and still commonly called The NIA) is an indoor arena and sporting venue in central Birmingham, England. Park Joo-bong
Park Joo-bong (; born 5 December 1964) is a South Korean former badminton player who excelled from the early 1980s through the mid-1990s. He was a member of South Korean national team from 1981 to 1996. He won a gold medal in the men's doubles at the 1992 Olympics, three-times World mixed doubles champion, two-times World men's doubles champion, and a silver medal in the mixed doubles at the 1996 Olympics.
