Gresini Racing is a motorcycle racing team competing in the Grand Prix motorcycle racing, MotoGP World Championship under the name Gresini Racing MotoGP as a Ducati satellite team, in the Moto2 World Championship as Italjet Gresini Racing Moto2, and the MotoE World Cup as Felo Gresini MotoE. The team also competes in CIV Moto3. History The beginning with Honda Fausto Gresini founded the team in with Fabrizio Cecchini as the technical director. The team competed in the 500 cc class with Brazilian rider Alex Barros and a Honda NSR500V two-cylinder bike. 2019 MotoE Season
The 2019 MotoE World Cup (known officially as the 2019 FIM Enel MotoE World Cup for sponsorship reasons) was the inaugural season of the MotoE World Cup for electric motorcycle racing, and was a support series of the 71st F.I.M. Grand Prix motorcycle racing season. The season was delayed because of a fire that destroyed 18 Energica Ego Corsa motorcycles. After 6 races between July and November 2019, Italian rider Matteo Ferrari from the Trentino Gresini MotoE team became the first MotoE champion. Donington Park is a motorsport Race track, circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. The circuit business is now owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, and the surrounding Donington Park Estate, still owned by the Wheatcroft family, is currently under lease by MotorSport Vision until 2038. Honda NSR500V
The Honda NSR500V is a race motorcycle from the Honda NSR series. It was designed and manufactured by HRC and debuted in 1996 for the Grand Prix motorcycle racing's 500 cc class. The bike was conceived by Honda to be a viable machine for privateer teams to enter the class. Characteristics The V-twin water-cooled two-stroke used the same crankcase reed-valve induction as the Honda NSR500 V4. The 100-degree V2 also used a single crankshaft, a feature common to all of Honda's GP race bikes of the time. Weighing in at 103 kg, it produced a claimed when running on hi-octane avgas. Alex Barros
Alexandre Barros (born October 18, 1970) is a Brazilian people, Brazilian former professional motorcycle road racing, road racer who is a 7-time 500cc/MotoGP race winner and also a race winner in Superbike World Championship.
