Greg Prosser
Greg Prosser (born 21 May 1966) is a Welsh former international rugby union player who represented the Wales national team on one occasion during the 1995 Rugby World Cup. He played in the top division of Welsh club rugby for Pontypridd RFC, where he spent a total of twelve seasons, and Bridgend RFC for two seasons. Rugby career Prosser first joined Pontypridd RFC in the 1986-87 season. Prosser moved to Bridgend RFC for the 1991-92 season. He made 19 appearances for Bridgend over two seasons, before rejoining Pontypridd for the 1993/94 season. Prosser was included in the Wales squad for the 1995 Rugby World Cup, and made his only appearance for the national team during the tournament, a 34-9 defeat to New Zealand. Prosser was part of the Pontypridd team that won the SWALEC Cup in 1996 and the Welsh Premier Division in the 1996-97 season. Aberavon RFC ( cy, Clwb Rygbi Aberafan) is a rugby union club located in the Welsh town of Port Talbot, though the club's name refers to the older settlement of Aberavon which lies on the western side of the town. Llantwit Fardre Rugby Football Club is a rugby union team from the village of Llantwit Fardre, South Wales. The club was formed in its present state in 1946 and obtained membership of the Welsh Rugby Union in 1949. Llantwit Fardre RFC is a feeder club for the Cardiff Rugby Early history 'Parish Rugby was played as early as 1886 on the Duffryn Bach field and continued to be played there until 1908 when the team moved to Tynywaun field, Hollybush, where the game continued until the Great War. Abercynon Rugby Football Club is a Welsh rugby union team based in Abercynon. Today, Abercynon RFC plays in the Welsh Rugby Union Division Two East Central league and are a feeder club for Cardiff Blues. The present club badge, designed in the early 1970s, depicts a swing bridge that used to span the river Taff to enable access to the colliery from the Carnetown area of Abercynon. Also on the club badge is the Glamorgan County coat of arms, and the coat of arms of an area bordering on Abercynon known as the Tynte.
