Got Event AB is a company owned by the City of Gothenburg ( sv: ''Göteborgs Stad'') that manages events at the city's sports venues. Got Event was formed when the company Fritid Göteborg was reorganized and split in 1999 to Got Event AB, Park- och naturförvaltningen, and Idrotts- och föreningsförvaltningen. Got Event is responsible for events at Gamla Ullevi Stadium, Ullevi Stadium, Scandinavium indoor sports and event arena, Valhalla Swimming Hall, Lisebergshallen and Valhalla Sporthallar in Gothenburg. Scandinavium
Scandinavium () is an indoor arena located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Construction on Scandinavium began in 1969 after decades of setbacks, and was inaugurated on 18 May 1971. Scandinavium has been selected as a championship arena at least fifty times, hosting events such as World Championships in handball and ice hockey, European championships, Davis Cup finals, and in 1985 the Eurovision Song Contest, 1985, Eurovision Song Contest. Lisebergshallen
Lisebergshallen was a multi-purpose venue in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was located at the entrance of the amusement park Liseberg. It was built in 1980 and was used as entertainment centre for sports competitions, charity events and concerts. In 2019, it was demolished. Samskolan uses the venue regularly every year at Christmas for their annual "Folkdans". Handball team Redbergslids IK used Lisebergshallen as home arena. The venue has hosted concerts for rock bands like Slayer, Alice Cooper, Europe, Joe Bonamassa, Manowar, Jethro Tull, In Flames, HammerFall, Kent, Motörhead, Nightwish, Helloween, Hardcore Superstar and Bullet for My Valentine. Valhalla Swimming Hall
Valhalla Swimming Hall () is a swimming hall located in Gothenburg, Sweden. Valhalla was officially opened on December 6, 1956, by Gothenburg's municipal commissioner Torsten Henriksson. History Valhalla was designed by Nils Olsson, the design was awarded with a bronze Olympic medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics. The work was completed by Gustav Samuelsson in 1956 after Olsson's death. Upon completion at 67,000 m3, Valhalla was the biggest and most modern swimming facility in Sweden. The interior decoration of 700 square meters (7,535 square feet) was made by local painter Nils Wendel. In 1959 the men's tub bathing area was rebuilt to a thermae bath. In 1967 a 50-meter outdoor swimming pool was added to the facility. In 1987 the outdoor pool was replaced by a 50-meter indoor pool. Ullevi, sometimes known as Nya Ullevi (, ''New Ullevi''), is a multi-purpose stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. Gamla Ullevi
Gamla Ullevi (, ) is a association football, football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden, that opened on 5 April 2009. The stadium replaced the city's previous main football stadium, also called Gamla Ullevi (1916), Gamla Ullevi, and is the home ground of GAIS, IFK Göteborg and Örgryte IS. It is also the national stadium for the Sweden women's national football team. The new stadium was built on the ground of the now-demolished old stadium.
