Gostaresh Foulad Tabriz Football Club (, ''Bashgah-e Futbal-e Gâsteresh Fulâd Tebriz'') was an Iranian Football (soccer), football club based in Tabriz, Iran. The club was founded in 2008. They were promoted to Persian Gulf Pro League in the 2012–13 Azadegan League, 2012–13 season. In 2018, the club's ownership was moved to Amir Hossein Alagheband and the club moved to Urmia. Gostaresh Foolad also had a Gostaresh Foolad Tabriz FSC, futsal team in the senior, under 22's, under 19's, under 17's, and under 15's levels. History Establishment Formed in 2008, Gostaresh took over the licence of Niroye Zamini F.C., Niroye Zamini when they ran into financial difficulties. Gostaresh had played the previous season in Iran Football's 3rd Division, placing first overall. Faraz Kamalvand (, born 26 December 1976) is an Iranian football coach. He is the head coach of Sanat Naft. Early life He was born on 27 December 1976 in Khoramabad, Iran and is from Lorestan. Mehdi Tartar (Persian: ; born 24 September 1972) is an Iranian football coach and former player who manages Gol Gohar in Persian Gulf Pro League. The Persian Gulf Pro League (, ''Lig-e Bartar-e Xalij-e Fârs''), formerly known as the Iran Premier League (, ''Lig-e bartar-e Irân''), is a professional association football league in Iran and the highest level of the Iranian football league system. Rasoul Paki Khatibi (; born 22 September 1978) is an Iranian football coach and former player who is the president of the Persian Gulf Pro League team Paykan. He is the younger brother of Hossein Khatibi, who is also a football manager and former professional footballer. Club career Khatibi began his professional football career, playing for his hometown club, Tractor, following the footsteps of his brother, Hossein Khatibi.
