Its seat is the village of Boronów, which lies approximately east of Lubliniec and north of the regional capital Katowice. The gmina covers an area of , and as of 2019 its total population is 3,416. Komorní Lhotka
Komorní Lhotka (, ) is a municipality and village in Frýdek-Místek District in the Moravian-Silesian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,500 inhabitants. The municipality has a significant Polish minority. The folk architecture in the village is well preserved and is protected as a village monument zone.
