Giuliano Đanić
Giuliano Đanić (born 14 May 1973), known professionally as Giuliano, is a Croatian pop singer. Music career In mid 1988, Giuliano, along with Siniša Vuco, formed the rock band Kleopatra. The band released three singles "Odlazim", "Hladna noć", and "Svi u jedan glas". The band broke up in late 1989. After the break up of Kleopatra, Đanić, along with Zlatko Brodarić, formed the band Apokalipsa. The band's debut album ''Ljubav za ljubav, bol za bol'' was released in 1991. Giuliano has participated seven times in HRT Dora, Croatia's annual music competition and national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest. He made his debut in 1996 performing "Sjaj u očima otkriva te", which finished fifth with 104 points. He returned to the contest again in 1999 with "Dobro mi došla ljubavi" finishing sixth. The Croatian Parliament () or the Sabor is the Unicameralism, unicameral legislature of Croatia. Under the terms of the Constitution of Croatia, Croatian Constitution, the Sabor represents the nation, people and is vested with legislative power. Jadranka Kosor
Jadranka Kosor (; born 1 July 1953) is a Croatian politician and former journalist who served as Prime Minister of Croatia from 2009 to 2011, having taken office following the sudden resignation of her predecessor Ivo Sanader. Kosor was the List of elected or appointed female heads of government, first and so far only woman to become Prime Minister of Croatia since Independence of Croatia, independence. Kosor started working as a journalist, following her graduation from the Faculty of Law, University of Zagreb, Zagreb Faculty of Law. 2005 Croatian Presidential Election
Presidential elections were held in Croatia in January 2005, the fourth such elections since independence in 1991. They were the first presidential elections held after the constitutional reforms of November 2000, which replaced a semi-presidential system with an incomplete parliamentary system, greatly reducing the powers of the president in favor of the Prime Minister and the cabinet. Incumbent president Stjepan Mesić, who had been elected in 2000 as the candidate of the Croatian People's Party, was eligible to seek reelection to a second term and ran as an independent as the constitution prohibited the president from holding party membership while in office. The elections resulted in the landslide re-election of Mesić for a second five-year term.
