Giorgio Pietro Verano Alvarez (born November 18, 1976), better known as Gio Alvarez, is a Filipino actor in movies and television shows. He was an original member of '' Ang TV'', a youth-oriented variety show in the Philippines. Career He played as young Michael de Mesa in ''Hihintayin Kita Sa Langit'', starring Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta. He played as Bob Cosme, the second son of Kevin Cosme played by Dolphy in ''Home Along Da Riles'', showed in ABS-CBN from 1992-2003. Mandaluyong ( ; ), officially the City of Mandaluyong (, ), is a Cities of the Philippines#Legal classification, highly-urbanized city in the Metro Manila, National Capital Region of the Philippines. Gregorio Hilario del Pilar y Sempio (; ; November 14, 1875 – December 2, 1899) was a Filipino general of the Philippine Revolutionary Army during the Philippine–American War. As one of the youngest generals in the Revolutionary Army, he was known for the successful assault on the Spanish barracks in the municipality of Paombong, his victory on the first phase Battle of Quingua and his last stand at the Battle of Tirad Pass during the Philippine–American War. Hosted by Charo Santos-Concio, its first iteration was aired from May 15, 1991 to December 10, 2022. It is the longest running drama anthology series in the Philippines.
