Gintautas Matulis (born 6 December 1986) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player for Jurbarkas-Karys of the National Basketball League (NKL). He plays at the small forward position. Professional career Matulis spent the 2017–18 season with Nevėžis Kėdainiai in the Lithuanian Basketball League and FIBA Europe Cup. On 5 July 2018, he signed with Þór Þorlákshöfn of the Icelandic Úrvalsdeild karla. He left the team in November due to injuries after averaging 9.8 points and 5.0 rebounds in 4 games. Gintautas Paluckas (; born 19 August 1979) is a Lithuanian politician who has served as the 18th prime minister of Lithuania since December 2024. He was previously Deputy Mayor of Vilnius from 2015 to 2019, led the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (LSDP) between 2017 and 2021, and has been a member of the Seimas since the 2020 election. In 2025, Paluckas returned as LSDP leader after Vilija Blinkevičiūtė decided not to run for another term. Gintautas Piešina (8 April 1952 – 24 April 2014) was a Lithuanian chess player who holds the title of International Master (IM, 1988). He is five time winner of Lithuanian Chess Championship (1972, 1974, 1978, 1984, 1988) and two time winner of Baltic Chess Championship (1977, 1988). Gintautas Umaras (born 20 May 1963) is a retired track and road racing cyclist from Lithuania, who represented the USSR at the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea. There he won the gold medal in the men's 4 km individual pursuit and in the men's team pursuit, alongside Viatcheslav Ekimov, Dmitry Nelyubin and Artūras Kasputis.
