Gianni Pettenati
Gianni Pettenati (29 October 1945 – 22 February 2025) was an Italian singer and musical critic. He is most famous for his Italian cover versions of great international hits. He was also the author of plays and books on the history of Italian music. Life and career Gianni Pettenati started very early winning a music contest when he was 8 years old and acted in a play Pirandello. In April 1965 he won the Festival di Bellaria, then joined a group called the Juniors in 1966 to record "Come una pietra che rotola", a cover version of "Like a Rolling Stone" originally by Bob Dylan. This was followed by "Il superuomo" again with the Juniors, this time a cover of " Sunshine Superman" by Donovan, with the B-side being "Puoi farmi piangere", a cover of " I Put a Spell on You" from Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Gianni Motta
Gianni Motta (born 13 March 1943) is an Italian former bicycle racer who won the 1966 Giro d'Italia. Gianni Motta was born at Cassano d'Adda (Lombardy). His main victories include the Giro d'Italia (1966), a Giro di Lombardia (1964), a Tour de Suisse (1967) and two Tour de Romandie (1966, 1971). Like many before him, he turned to manufacture and sales of bicycles after his racing career. In 1984 to promote his bike brand in the USA he sponsored Gianni Motta–Linea M.D. Italia team that became the first American registered team to compete in Giro d'Italia. Gianni Morbidelli (born 13 January 1968) is an Italian racing driver. He participated in 70 Formula One Grands Prix, debuting on 11 March 1990. He achieved one podium, and scored a total of 8.5 championship points. He most recently competed in the TCR International Series. Racing career Early career Morbidelli was born in Pesaro. His father, Giancarlo Morbidelli, was the founder of the Morbidelli motorcycle company which had some success in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. Morbidelli started karting in 1980. Gian Luigi "Gianni" Morandi (; born 11 December 1944) is an Italian pop singer, actor and entertainer. It is estimated that Morandi has sold about 50 million recordings.
