Justin Jude Clarke-Samuel (born 9 October 1984), better known by his stage name Ghetts (formerly Ghetto), is a British Grime (music), grime MC, rapper, songwriter and actor. His music has been played on national radio stations such as BBC Radio 1, Kiss 100 London, Kiss 100, BBC Asian Network, and BBC Radio 1Xtra. He released his debut studio album, ''Rebel with a Cause (album), Rebel with a Cause'', via independent record label Disrupt on 9 March 2014. Known for his hard hitting lyrics and intricate rhyme schemes, he is associated and has toured internationally with such acts as Kano (rapper), Kano and was a member of Nasty Crew, N.A.S.T.Y. Crew. Nasty Crew
Nasty Crew (commonly stylised as N.A.S.T.Y., a backronym for Natural Artistic Sounds Touching You) was a British grime (music genre), grime crew from East London, with its members primarily from London Borough of Newham, Newham. The group was founded by disc jockey, DJ Marcus Nasty and rapping, MCs Sharky Major and Stormin in 1999, and its membership underwent frequent changes in the following years, with most artists forming or joining successor crews by 2006. ''Rebel with a Cause'' is the debut album by Ghetts. It was released on 10 March 2014 through independent label Disrupt, following ten years' worth of mixtapes and singles. It entered the UK Albums Chart at number 23. The album earned Ghetts numerous accolades; including 3 MOBO nominations, a BET nomination, the award for 'Hardest Working Artist' at the AIM Independent Awards and 2 Urban Music Awards for 'Best Album' and 'Best Male'. "Rebel with a Cause" also draws influences from other genres such as rock, jazz, and reggae. Kane Brett Robinson (born 21 May 1985), known by the stage name Kano, is a British rapper, songwriter and actor from East Ham, London. Tayó Grant Jarrett (born 5 April 1986), better known as Scorcher, is an English grime MC, songwriter and actor from Edmonton, London. He was previously a member of the grime collective The Movement and is signed to Blue Colla Music. Career 2005–08: Early career He began his career in Cold Blooded where he became known for his "shank" bars, and would regularly attend pirate radio and work his way up through the North London grime circuit. Scorcher served a short prison sentence in 2006 for driving offences, and while in jail his mixtape ''Simply the Best'' was released and was greeted with good reviews from the grime scene. Jermaine Sinclaire Scott (born 9 March 1985), better known by his stage name Wretch 32, is a British rapper, singer and songwriter from Tottenham, North London. He was a member of the grime collective Combination Chain Gang, before forming The Movement with Scorcher, Ghetts, and Mercston. In 2011, Wretch 32 had three top-five charting songs from debut album ''Black and White'' and amassed over a million record sales, including the single " Don't Go" which peaked at number-one on the UK Singles Chart.
