Gevorg Gharibyan
Gevorg Gharibyan (born 11 December 1994) is an Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler. He won the gold medal in the 60kg event at the 2020 European Wrestling Championships held in Rome, Italy. Career Gharibyan won the gold medal in the 55kg event at the 2012 European Juniors Wrestling Championships held in Zagreb, Croatia. He also won the gold medal in the 60kg event at the 2014 European Juniors Wrestling Championships held in Warsaw, Poland. In 2017, Gharibyan competed in the 59kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Novi Sad, Serbia. The following year, he competed in the 60kg event at the 2018 World Wrestling Championships held in Budapest, Hungary. In 2019, Gharibyan competed in the 60kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania and in the 60kg event at the World Wrestling Championships held in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. 2021 World Wrestling Championships
The 2021 World Wrestling Championships was the 17th edition of the World Wrestling Championships of combined events and was held from 2 to 10 October 2021 in Oslo, Norway. The event was subsequent to the 2019 World Championships due to the cancelation of the 2020 edition during the COVID-19 pandemic. Erik Torba (born 1 February 1996) is a Hungarian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is a silver medalist at the European Games and a bronze medalist at the European Wrestling Championships. Career Torba competed in the men's 59 kg event at the 2017 European Wrestling Championships in Novi Sad, Serbia and the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in Paris, France. At the beginning of 2018, United World Wrestling implemented changes to the weight classes used in wrestling and in that year he began competing in the 60 kg and 63 kg weight classes. The men's Greco-Roman 60 kilograms is a competition featured at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships, and was held in Oslo, Norway on 8 and 9 October. This Greco-Roman wrestling competition consists of a single-elimination tournament, with a repechage used to determine the winner of two bronze medals. The two finalists face off for gold and silver medals. The 2021 European Wrestling Olympic Qualification Tournament is the second regional qualifying tournament for the 2020 Summer Olympics. The event was held from 18 to 21 March 2021, in BOK Sports Hall, Budapest, Hungary. Qualification summary A total of 36 athletes secured a spot in the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Tokyo, Japan. 2020 Individual Wrestling World Cup
The inaugural 2020 Individual World Wrestling Cup was held in Belgrade, Serbia from 12–18 December 2020. It was a replacement event for the 2020 World Championships, which should have taken place in the same location, but since some criteria were not fulfilled, such as not less than 8 top nations from the previous championships to participate, the event is not counted as world championships.
