Christoph Maria Michael Hugo Damian Peter Adalbert Schönborn, OP (; born 22 January 1945) is a Bohemian-born Austrian Catholic prelate who served as Archbishop of Vienna from 1995 until 2025. He was chairman of the Austrian Bishops' Conference from 1998 to 2020 and was made a cardinal in 1998. He is a member of the Dominican Order. Raffaello Fagnoni (29 April 1901 – 4 May 1966) was an Italian architect and urban planner. A graduate in Rome, he contributed to the founding of the Faculty of Architecture in Florence. His works include churches, public buildings, residential neighborhoods, sport facilities, and urban interventions. He was also involved in university development projects and infrastructure, maintaining a prominent role in Italy's architectural and academic scene until his death in Florence in 1966. Paul Yu Pin (; 13 April 1901 – 16 August 1978) was a Chinese cardinal of the Catholic Church. He served as Archbishop of Nanking from 1946 until his death, having previously served as its Apostolic Vicar, and was elevated to the cardinalate in 1969. Joseph Louis Bernardin (April 2, 1928 – November 14, 1996) was an American Catholic prelate who served as Archbishop of Cincinnati from 1972 until 1982, and as Archbishop of Chicago from 1982 until his death from pancreatic cancer. Bernardin was elevated to the cardinalate in 1983 by Pope John Paul II. Biography Early life Joseph Bernardin was born on April 2, 1928, in Columbia, South Carolina, to Joseph "Bepi" Bernardin and Maria Maddalena Simion. They were an Austro-Hungarian-born immigrant couple, from the village of Fiera di Primiero, now located in the Northern Italian region of Trentino.
