Geraldine González Martínez is a Chilean model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universo Chile 2019. González represented Chile in Miss Universe 2019 but was unplaced. Miss Universe Chile (abbreviated as MUCH; ) is an annual national beauty pageant that selects Chile's official representative to Miss Universe—one of the Big Four beauty pageants. The current Miss Universo Chile is Emilia Dides of Vitacura who was crowned in July 2024. History Between 1969 and 1995, ''Paula'' magazine was responsible for organizing the contest and maintaining the franchise; during this period, TVN broadcast the competition beginning in 1976. Between 1991 and 1994, ''Paula'' magazine and Canal 13 jointly selected Miss Chile for Miss Universe and Miss World. Miss Universe 2019 was the 68th Miss Universe pageant, held at Stage 1 of Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, United States on 8 December 2019. At the end of the event, Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa was crowned as Miss Universe 2019 by Catriona Gray of the Philippines. It was South Africa's third win after 1978 and their recent victory in 2017. This edition also saw the crowning of the first black woman from the country to win and the first since Leila Lopes of Angola in 2011.
