Geoff Cutmore
Geoff Cutmore (born 23 December 1966) is an English financial journalist. He presented CNBC Europe's breakfast news programme ''Squawk Box Europe'', from 1999 until his departure from CNBC on 2 June 2023. He was also an occasional relief presenter of ''Asia Squawk Box'' on CNBC Asia. Cutmore was with CNBC for thirty years and prior to presenting Squawk Box Europe, he worked for CNBC Asia and was based in Hong Kong. ''Squawk Box Europe'' (from May 2011 to April 2025, billed on-screen as just Squawk Box) is a television business news programme on CNBC Europe, aired from 8-11am Central European Time, CET (7-10am Western European Time, WET) each weekday. It also airs on CNBC Asia between 3.00p.m.-6.00p.m. Hong Kong / Singapore time (2.00p.m.-5.00p.m. with Daylight saving time, DST), and in the United States on CNBC World at the respective time, 2:00 a.m. - 5:00 a.m., ET. The programme is co-anchored by Steve Sedgwick (journalist), Steve Sedgwick, Julianna Tatelbaum and Karen Tso. ''Squawk Box Asia'' (formerly ''Asia Squawk Box'') is a television business news program on CNBC Asia, aired Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. (Hong Kong/Singapore time). CNBC Asia is a Singapore-based Business journalism, business news channel owned by the NBCUniversal Media Group, a subsidiary of Comcast. It is a pan-Asian branch of the U.S.-based CNBC. The channel initially launched on 20 June 1997 out of Hong Kong. In 1998, the channel merged with Dow Jones' Asia Business News and relocated to its facilities in Singapore.
