Geng Shuang
Geng Shuang (; born April 1973) is a Chinese politician serving as China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations. He formerly served as the deputy director of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Biography Geng was born in Beijing in April 1973. He received a Bachelor of Arts in English language from China Foreign Affairs University in 1995 and a Master of Arts in international relations from Tufts University in 2006. Beginning in 1995, he served in several posts in the Foreign Ministry, including staff member, secretary, counsellor, and division director. He was counsellor of the Chinese Embassy in the United States from 2011 to 2015. In 2015, he returned to Beijing and was appointed the counsellor of the Foreign Ministry's International Economic Division.
