Cathy Gauthier
Cathy Gauthier ( Tardi; June 5, 1961 in Winnipeg, Manitoba) is a Canadian curler and broadcaster. Gauthier began curling in grade 9. She played juniors for one season with Connie Laliberte, losing in the Manitoba final one year. Gauthier joined back up with Laliberte in women's play, and was on her team for much of her career. Gauthier won two championships with Laliberte, in 1992 and 1995, and won the 2005 Scott Tournament of Hearts with Jennifer Jones, playing lead. Although she is one of the few women to win three championships on the national level, she has not won a world championship. She left the Jones team in May 2005 due to family commitments. Gauthier, who is regularly employed with the Canadian Government, also works as a curling broadcaster, having called games for '' TSN'' and ''Global TV'' in Winnipeg and ''Rogers Sportsnet'' nationally. Gabriel Robert Gauthier (born January 20, 1984) is an American former professional ice hockey forward who is currently the head coach of the Las Vegas Storm in the Western States Hockey League. He played eight games in the NHL with the Los Angeles Kings. Playing career As a youth, Gauthier played in the 1998 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament with the Los Angeles Junior Kings minor ice hockey team. Frédérik Gauthier (born April 26, 1995) is a Canadian professional ice hockey centre currently under contract with HC Vityaz of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). Gauthier was selected by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round, 21st overall, of the 2013 NHL Entry Draft after spending three years with the Rimouski Océanic in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). Éric Gauthier is a Québécois writer and storyteller. He primarily writes science fiction and fantasy novels and novellas. He has won the prix Boréal four times (2000, 2006, 2009, 2012); the prix Solaris three times (1999, 2002, 2016); and the prix Jacques-Brossard three times (2003, 2012, 2020). Daniel Gauthier (born May 17, 1970) is a Canadian former ice hockey centre. He played 5 games in the National Hockey League with the Chicago Blackhawks during the 1994–95 season. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1990 to 2012, was mainly spent in European leagues. Playing career Gauthier was drafted 62nd overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft.
