"Gasoline" () is a song by South Korean singer Key (entertainer), Key. It served as the lead single for his second studio album ''Gasoline (Key album), Gasoline'', and was released on August 30, 2022, through SM Entertainment. A Hip hop music, hip hop Dance music, dance song, "Gasoline" was written by Key, Kenzie (songwriter), Kenzie, Moonshine, Keynon "KC" Moore and Ninos Hanna, and produced by Moonshine and Kenzie. Background Key experienced difficulties finding a lead single for his second studio album, and therefore requested SM's in-house songwriter Kenzie (songwriter), Kenzie write a song for him based on his specifications. Kim Ki-bum (born September 23, 1991), better known by his stage name Key, is a South Korean rapper, singer, dancer, songwriter, actor, fashion designer and television presenter. Born and raised in Daegu, South Korea, he later travelled to Seoul after a successful audition at the SM National Tour Audition Casting. In May 2008, Key debuted as a member of South Korean boy group Shinee, who later went on to become one of the best-selling artists in South Korea. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. It is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. Founded in 2010.
