Gabrielius Maldūnas
Gabrielius "Gabas" Maldūnas (born 19 April 1993) is a Lithuanian professional basketball player who plays as a Center (basketball), center for BC Lietkabelis, Lietkabelis Panevėžys of the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga, Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL) and the EuroCup Basketball, EuroCup. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 2015. Early life and high school Maldūnas was born in Panevėžys, Lithuania where he went to school and played basketball until 2008. In the summer of 2008 he went to the US to study and play basketball at Holderness School. He played there for three years and each year his team made the NEPSAC playoffs, reaching the finals once. In his senior year of high school, Gabas was the team’s captain, averaging 18 points and 8 rebounds. Karaliaus Mindaugo Taurė
Karaliaus Mindaugo taurė (English: King Mindaugas Cup) is an annual national domestic basketball cup competition between Lithuanian professional teams. It is organised by the Lithuanian Basketball League (Lietuvos krepšinio lyga – LKL). The tournament is named in honor of Mindaugas, the first and only King of Lithuania. The Final four event includes an annual LKL Three-point Shootout contest, LKL Future Cup was introduced in 2018 with Žalgiris and Rytas youth teams competing for the cup. ACL Injury
An anterior cruciate ligament injury occurs when the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is either stretched, partially torn, or completely torn. The most common injury is a complete tear. Symptoms include pain, an audible cracking sound during injury, instability of the knee, and joint swelling. Swelling generally appears within a couple of hours. The 2023–24 Lietuvos krepšinio lyga season, also called Betsafe–LKL for sponsorship reasons, was the 31st season of the top-tier level professional basketball league of Lithuania, the Lietuvos krepšinio lyga (LKL).
