Gabe Suárez
Gabriel O. "Gabe" Suárez (born 14 December 1984) is a professional baseball manager, former player who played as a pitcher and former owner of the San Rafael Pacifics. Born in the United States, he represented Spain internationally. Playing career Suárez was originally drafted by the Montreal Expos in the 33rd round of the 2003 MLB Draft out of Arcadia High School in Phoenix, Arizona but did not sign. He was again drafted by the Expos in the 26th round of the 2004 MLB Draft after playing with South Mountain Community College. After playing parts of two seasons with the Expos/Nationals Gulf Coast League team, he was released and finished out the 2005 season with the Lincoln Saltdogs of the Northern League. He signed a minor league contract with the Colorado Rockies in 2006 and then with the Cincinnati Reds in 2007, but did not get past Class-A. Adelaide Bite
The Adelaide Giants are a professional baseball team that plays in the Australian Baseball League. They are one of the six foundation franchises of the league, in its first incarnation from 1989 to 1999. The team adopted the name Bite or Adelaide Bite when the league relaunched in 2010, officially Adelaide ETSA Bite, when the South Australian power company ETSA Utilities became its major sponsor. After an ETSA rebrand to SA Power Networks, the Bite became the Adelaide Bite, proudly presented by SA Power Networks. In 2019, the team was rebranded as Adelaide Giants. Delfines De Ciudad Del Carmen
The Delfines del Carmen (English: Carmen Dolphins) were a professional baseball team in the Mexican League based in Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche. They played their home games at the Estadio Resurgimiento. History In November 2011, Colombian entrepreneur Carlos Mejía bought the Tecolotes de Nuevo Laredo and moved them to Campeche, giving the state two baseball teams, the other being the Piratas de Campeche, based in Campeche City. The Delfines del Carmen operated in a span of five years from 2012 through 2016 as members of the LMB Zona Sur. They had only two winning seasons, made the playoffs in 2013 and 2014 – including the division title in 2013 – and posted the second worst record of the league in 2016.
