Gabe Lopez is an American pop-rock singer/songwriter and producer. He is of Mexican and Irish descent. Signed to Universal Music Group as a songwriter and to Spectra Music Group as an artist, Lopez has produced and written for Belinda Carlisle, New Kids on the Block, James Brown, The Go-Go's, ''RuPaul's Drag Race'', Twice, Krayzie Bone, Shinee, Super Junior, Tae Yang, Charice as well as for TV and film. The Roxy Theatre (often just the Roxy) is a nightclub on the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood, California, owned by Lou Adler and his son, Nic. NOH8 Campaign
The NOH8 Campaign (NOH8 meaning "No Hate") is a charitable organization whose mission is to promote LGBTQ marriage, gender and human equality through education, advocacy, social media, and visual protest. The campaign was created as photographic silent protest by celebrity photographer Adam Bouska and partner Jeff Parshley in response to the passage of Proposition 8. Photos featured subjects with duct tape over their mouths, symbolizing their voices being silenced by Prop 8 and similar legislation around the world, with "NOH8" painted on one cheek in protest. "H8" (leet for 'hate') is short for "Proposition H8" (pronounced "proposition hate"), a nickname used by critics of the proposition. The American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers (ASCAP) () is an American not-for-profit performance-rights organization (PRO) that collectively licenses the public performance rights of its members' musical works to venues, broadcasters, and digital streaming services (music stores). ASCAP collects licensing fees from users of music created by ASCAP members, then distributes them back to its members as royalties. James Conrad Verraros (born February 8, 1983) is an American singer, songwriter, and actor, who placed ninth on the first season of ''American Idol.''
