The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a Radionavigation-satellite service, satellite-based hyperbolic navigation system owned by the United States Space Force and operated by Mission Delta 31. It is one of the satellite navigation, global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) that provide geolocation and Time transfer, time information to a Satellite navigation device, GPS receiver anywhere on or near the Earth where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites. The United States Space Force (USSF) is the space force branch of the United States Department of Defense.
