Fujahtive
Fujahtive is an eight piece reggae band based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The band was known for their powerful, horn section-driven brand of reggae during their live performances in Toronto and tours across Canada throughout the late 1980s and 1990s. Fujahtive's second album, ''The Sound'', received a nomination for Best Reggae Recording at the 1995 Juno Awards. The band's "Send fi mi girl" video was one of the first Canadian reggae videos to crack the Much Music regular rotation in 1991. That same year they were invited to guest host and play live on the MuchMusic show Xtendamix along with regular host Master T. The band took a break in 2006 before regrouping on November 7, 2014 for a sold out benefit concert in Toronto. The Juno Awards of 1995, representing Canadian music industry achievements of the previous year, were awarded on 26 March 1995 in Hamilton, Ontario at a ceremony in the Copps Coliseum. Mary Walsh, Rick Mercer and other regulars of the television series ''This Hour Has 22 Minutes'' were the hosts for the ceremonies, which were broadcast on CBC Television. Josh Ho-Sang
Joshua Ho-Sang (born January 22, 1996) is a Canadian professional ice hockey forward currently playing for the Salavat Yulaev Ufa of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The CASBY Awards were a Canadian awards ceremony for independent and alternative music, presented annually by Toronto, Ontario radio station CFNY, currently branded as 102.1 The Edge. CASBY is an acronym for Canadian Artists Selected By You. The awards were first presented in 1981 under the name U-Knows, a pun on Canada's mainstream Juno Awards. Ice hockey (or simply hockey) is a team sport played on ice skates, usually on an ice skating rink with lines and markings specific to the sport. It belongs to a family of sports called hockey.
